This upcoming weeks toughest matchup is the New York Giants who are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles. It was nearly a year ago when these two teams faced off in a play off contention game when the Eagles became victorious after the Giants gave up a twenty-point lead in the fourth quarter. I see this game being a close one and rather low scoring due to various injuries from each team. The Eagles will be without their explosive quarterback Michael Vick that will put most of the pressure on running back LeSean McCoy. The Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is likely to not play, putting the hard running Brandon Jacobs against the weak Eagles run defense. The key for the Eagles to win will be on the shoulders of the Eagles defense, considering their offense will be shaky due to injuries. The key for the Giants to win will be to run the ball! Any success that Jacobs can have on the ground will only enhance the chance that Eli Manning will connect to his receivers and torch their secondary. This match-up will be a close one but I see the New York Giants pulling away with the W at home. Not only will this enhance the Giants playoffs chances and put an end to the struggling Eagles playoff chances but it would also give them a chance of redemption for what the Philadelphia Eagles did to them last season. Either team is in dire need for this win and I expect this game to be the most exciting game of this upcoming weekend.
