The biggest bust of this NFL season seems to go to the struggling Chris Johnson for the Tennessee Titans. Fantasy owners if they haven’t worried yet should be worrying now after ever week that he plays has been a let down. He has only broke 100 yards rushing in just one of his games and is averaging not even fifty yards a game. This was not what anyone thought before the season started but the question that remains is what to do with him? Do you play him and hope he eventually has a decent week? Do you just let him sit on your fantasy teams bench? Do you trade him away at a low value? The one thing I wouldn’t do is trade him away. Even if you were to trade him, the value of the corresponding player that you would get wouldn’t be worth giving him up. Regardless of his numbers thus far, he is a fantasy player who has been known to put up huge numbers in previous seasons. I wouldn’t start him either, just simply because I can think of multiple players that are averaging way more points than him. If I were to recommend a plan of action, it would be to let him ride the bench on your team just because he is capable of running the football. Do this until he has his big week that way his trading value will increase or starts to turn his season around and actually start playing like the player many fantasy owners expected him to be.
