Kansas City Rolling

Finally the Kansas City Chiefs are starting to look like conference contenders after winning three straight.  They started off the season with three consecutive losses.  These losses on the other hand were against high-powered offensives including Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and the San Diego Chargers.  Even though the Chiefs got their first wins over the winless Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts, their third win was against the decent Oakland Raiders team.  Their success could be credited to the great play of Matt Cassell and their number one wide out Dwayne Bowe who had a total of three touchdowns in those three games.  Cassell’s early slip-ups could be directly related to a rib injury he had suffered early in the season but ever since he over came that he has been red hot.  If everyone can stay healthy they might make a run to make the playoffs this year.  The chiefs are facing the San Diego Chargers who they previously lost to in the third game of the season but only by three points.  Expect Kansas City to be looking for revenge at their place this upcoming week.  Many teams who play at Kansas City in Arrow Head stadium tend to struggle because it is arguably the loudest stadium in the National Football League.  It also doesn’t help that Phillip Rivers has been struggling and with the noise being an issue, it can’t help his situation.  Be prepared for this to be a scrappy game with the Chiefs winning despite what the analysts are predicting.
